Datuk Seri Dr Irmohizam Bin Ibrahim

Datuk Seri Dr Irmohizam Bin Ibrahim was conferred the title of Panglima Jasa Negara (P.J.N.) by the fifteenth Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong in 2017 which carries the title of ‘Datuk’. He has also been bestowed with the following state honours:
- Darjah Cemerlang Seri Melaka (D.C.S.M.) awarded by TYT Yang di-Pertua Negeri Melaka in 2020 which carries the title of ‘Datuk Wira’;
- Darjah Kebesaran Peringkat Pertama Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (S.S.A.P.) awarded by DYMM Sultan Pahang in 2016 which carries the title of ‘Dato' Sri’;
- Panglima Gemilang Darjah Kinabalu (P.G.D.K.) and Jaksa Pendamai (J.P.) awarded by TYT Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sabah in 2014 and 2012 respectively;
- Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (D.I.M.P.) awarded by DYMM Sultan Pahang in 2010 which carries the title of ‘Dato’;
- Bintang Cemerlang Melaka (B.C.M.) awarded by TYT Yang di-Pertua Negeri Melaka in 2010; and
- Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (P.J.K.) awarded by DYMM Sultan Selangor in 2003.
Datuk Seri Dr Irmohizam Bin Ibrahim is the Group Managing Director of World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur. He is recognised as the first Malaysian elected as the Chair of Conferences and Exhibitions (C&E) Member Advisory Council (MAC) World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) headquartered in New York, United States as well as the first Malaysian appointed to the Board of Directors of WTCA. He was acclaimed by The Contemporary World Press in China as one of the World’s ‘100 Best Public Figures’ in 2022.
Well-read in the academic field, Datuk Seri Dr Irmohizam Bin Ibrahim holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Education (Adult & Professional Development) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) APEL(Q) from Asia e University. He is currently pursuing a third PhD in the area of defence management and administration from Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM).
He possesses several master’s degrees as follows:
- Master of Public Administration from Universiti Malaya;
- Master of Science ( Business and Administration) from UPNM;
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) (Hons.) from the Arshad Ayub Graduate Business School of Universiti Teknologi MARA; and
- Master of Laws (LLM) (Hons.) from UKM.
Other legal qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (Hons.) and an Advanced Diploma in Shariah Law and Legal Practice (DSLP), both from International Islamic University Malaysia.
He has attended the Oxford Executive Leadership Programme organised by Saïd Business School of the University of Oxford, as well as Harvard Business School courses such as the ‘10th ASEAN Senior Management Development Programme’, ‘Study on Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economics’, and ‘Study on China and Communism’.
Datuk Seri Dr Irmohizam Bin Ibrahim enjoys reading, exercising at the gym, diving, horse riding and golf in his free time.
