Commonwealth Appreciation Night
Majlis Datuk Persekutuan Malaysia (MDPM) was honoured to host the Majlis Apresiasi Atlet & Kontinjen Sukan Komanwel Glasgow 2026, bringing together our nation’s Commonwealth Games medallists, coaches, sports officials, distinguished guests and valued partners to celebrate Team Malaysia’s outstanding achievements on the international stage.
The evening was graced by Secretary-General of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Dato’ Rahimi bin Ismail, as Guest of Honour, alongside Chef de Mission of the Malaysian Contingent, Datuk Awalan Abdul Aziz, as well as leaders from the sporting fraternity and corporate community.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of cash incentives, appreciation awards and commemorative recognitions to Malaysia’s Commonwealth Games medallists in recognition of their resilience, perseverance and remarkable achievements in bringing honour and pride to our nation.
MDPM also extends its sincere appreciation to our sponsors and supporting partners whose generous contributions made this meaningful celebration possible. Together, we continue to champion Malaysian sports, celebrate excellence, and inspire future generations to dream bigger and achieve more.
