Federal Awards 2026 (Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s Birthday)
In conjunction with the Official Birthday of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, the 2026 Federal Awards, Medals and Honours Investiture Ceremony was held amidst the splendour of Istana Negara on 1 June 2026. This year‘s ceremony recognised 161 exemplary individuals whose contributions have left a meaningful impact on the nation and its people.
Representing the Council of Federal Datuks (MDPM), President – Datuk Alvin Tee, Vice President – Datuk Abdul Razak Dawood, EXCO Member – Datuk Kiat Swee Sung, together with former Presidents – Datuk Iskandar Abdul Malik and Datuk Awalan Abdul Aziz, were honoured to attend the Investiture Ceremony and Royal Hi-Tea Reception as distinguished guests.
The occasion served as a meaningful reminder that leadership is measured by service, integrity and the positive impact we create for society. It was also a privilege to engage with leaders from government, industry and the wider community, united by a shared commitment towards nation-building and sustainable progress.
Among this year‘s recipients, ten outstanding individuals were conferred the Panglima Jasa Negara (PJN) award in recognition of their exceptional dedication and contributions across various fields of public service.

3. Investment, Trade and Industry Ministry secretary-general – Datuk Hairil Yahri Yaacob
4. Majlis Amanah Rakyat (Mara) director-general – Datuk Zulfikri Osman
5. Malaysia’s Ambassador to the Russian Federation – Datuk Cheong Loon Lai
6. Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka director-general – Datuk Dr Hazami Jahari
7. Women‘s NGO and community activist – Datuk Rugayah Abdul Majid
8. MRANTI Corporation Sdn Bhd Chairperson – Datuk Prof Dr Rofina Yasmin Othman
9. Telekom Malaysia Group managing director and chief executive officer – Datuk Amar Huzaimi Md Deris
10. Country Garden Pacificview Sdn Bhd Executive Director – Datuk Teo Chee Yow
