Born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Datuk Kenneth Soh is widely known as the trailblazer in the Food and Beverage (F&B) fraternity for his foresight and investments in advancing the distributions of imported wines and spirits to support the country’s F&B industry.

Joined the Company in 1993, Datuk Kenneth Soh has transformed LHFB, a KL-based retail business founded in 1956 to an established F&B enterprise with a vision to be a great Beverage Company in Asia. LHFB provides employment to 300 employees and operates state-of-the-art warehouse facilities to support its integrated distribution channels include wholesalers, retailers, distributors, and e-commerce operator throughout the country.

Leveraging on his vast wealth of knowledge in wine and whisky beverages, Datuk Kenneth Soh co-founded the Persatuan Kebajikan Pengimport dan Pengedar Minuman Keras Malaysia (PKPPMKM) and was elected as the President since 2021. Through PKPPMKM, he has helped the Malaysian beverages importers in addressing regulatory matters and bridged the European wine producers and whisky distilleries with the Malaysian restauranters and hoteliers through strategic collaborations.

With his solid track record in wine and whisky, Datuk Kenneth Soh was bestowed the titles of “Keeper of the Quaich” for his commitment and dedication to the Scotch whisky industry in Malaysia, as well as “Honorary Commandeur” of the Commanderie du Bontemps and “Jurade de Saint Emilion’ by the prestigious French wine fraternity for distributing over 250 French fine wines in Malaysia.

In his personal capacity, Datuk Kenneth Soh is passionate in community welfare and sustainability related works. He was District Commissioner of Cheras, Bukit Bintang and Zone Bangsar Districts from 2007 to 2012 and had served as the Assistant State Commissioner (Environment). In recent years, he, via the Corporate Social Responsibility programme of LHFB, provided sponsorship in-cash and in-kind to several NGOs and underprivileged communities in efforts to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Datuk Kenneth Soh started his career in Deloitte Kassim Chan & Co and KPMG before joining LHFB. He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and a fellow member of the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA).
