Datuk Mohanadas Nagappan

Datuk Mohanadas Nagappan was conferred the title of Panglima Jasa Negara (P.J.N.) by the thirteenth Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong on 4 June 2011 which carries the title of ‘Datuk’.
He has also been bestowed with the following federal and state honours:
- Darjah Setia Pangkuan Negeri (D.S.P.N.) awarded by TYT Yang di-Pertua Negeri Pulau Pinang on 10 July 2010 which carries the title of ‘Dato’;
- Johan Setia Mahkota Malaysia (J.S.M.) awarded by the twelfth Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong on 5 June 2004;
- Ahli Mahkota Selangor (A.M.S.) awarded by DYMM Sultan Selangor on 31 March 1999; and
- Kesatria Mangku Negara (K.M.N.) awarded by the tenth Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong on 7 June 1997.
Datuk Mohanadas is the director of MD Outdoor Consultant, i.e. consultants for outdoor adventure trips on demand. Educated at St. John’s Institution in Kuala Lumpur, he is acclaimed as one of the first two Malaysians to reach the summit of Mount Everest, the world’s highest mountain above sea level, on 23 May 1997.
An outdoor activities enthusiast, Datuk Mohanadas enjoys jogging, golfing, marathons, hiking, mountain climbing and overseas backpacking travel. He also undertakes annual pilgrimage trips to Mount Kailash, a mountain in the western part of the Tibetan Plateau.
